Grow our business! The Regional Sales Manager Upper Midwest (IL, WI, MN, IA) will be responsible for delivering sales and further developing Obsorn's solutions within the Upper Midwest region. This is a remote, field-based job located in the Greater Chicago area. See below for additional information on Osborn and our products. 

How you will tackle it:

  • Develop a full-scale sales, marketing and operational plan to create a growth oriented business model within the region.
  • Manage, develop, and foster relationships with key Sales and Operations stakeholders at targeted national account distributor partner within the region.
  • Develop and execute annual sales plans to achieve revenue objectives by growing existing business and converting on new business opportunities.   
  • Identify business opportunities with both new and existing customers; exceed sales targets through a direct sales process working with distributor sales teams and their key user customers.
  • Monitor sales reports to identify market drivers and detractors, and use data to adjust sales and coverage plans accordingly
  • Act as liaison between the external customer and Osborn internal departments (Customer Service, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, & Quality) to ensure customer requirements and inquiries are met in a timely manner. 

What it will take to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Two (2) to seven (7) years' experience in an outside direct selling position with prior experience selling through distribution and in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of a distributor's strategy, the competitive environment and key drivers behind a distributors need for change/buying results.
  • Prior success in growing new business from start to finish
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present a strategy to key stakeholders within an organization
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within region
