Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop new business in an assigned geographic territory that includes retail branches and sales offices of our national account distributor customers; secure knowledge base of customer's business and go to market strategies
  • Develop and execute annual sales plans to achieve revenue objectives by growing existing business and converting on new business opportunities.   
  • Identify business opportunities with both new and existing customers; exceed sales targets through a direct sales process working with distributor sales teams and their key user customers.
  • Monitor sales reports to identify market drivers and detractors, and use data to adjust sales and coverage plans accordingly
  •  Act as liaison between the external customer and Osborn internal departments (Customer Service, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, & Quality) to ensure customer requirements and inquiries are met in a timely manner. 

 

Position Requirements

  •  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  •  Two (2) to seven (7) years' experience in an outside direct selling position; sales into distribution and manufacturing environments preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
  • Excellent customer service skills
