Essential Duties and Responsibilities (up to 7)

  • Develop and implement processes in a manufacturing environment; make recommendations for improvements to production methods
  • Conduct time studies; determine manufacturing capacities, assist in production scheduling
  • Advises on design, fabrication, and modification of products for manufacturability
  • Support manufacturing operations such as: machining, tooling, welding, and assembly
  • Employ Lean and Six Sigma concepts and practices; conduct Kaizen events
  • May assign work to technical staff and manufacturing personnel

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a Lean/Six Sigma environment
  • Must be familiar with solid works auto-cad
  • Project managment experience - plant relocation
  • Self-starter
  • Team player
