Essential Duties and Responsibilities (up to 7)

  • Provide strategy, leadership and direction for an outside sales force; drive profitable and sustainable growth objectives among the team; provide support and technical assistance when necessary; hold team accountable

  • Develop and implement proper performance metrics for sales objectives and sales team performance; report on revenue, margin, pipeline etc. statistics to plant, management and executive leadership

  • Drive strategic plans for organic and market growth to successful completion

  • Build, grow, and maintain relationships with key customers;  collect, compile and act on Voice of the Customer data

  • Participate on cross functional teams to ensure customer objectives are communicated

  • Facilitate business development initiatives based on company strategic objectives

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or related field required

  • Ten (10) or more years  of experience in Sales;  supervision experience preferred

  • Demonstrated success in sales growth, business development and customer development
