Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with Operations and Finance teams to develop and maintain planning and budgeting systems for timely,    accurate month-end closing, roll-forward, supplemental reconciliations etc., primarily related to factory cost centers and inventory balances.
  • Prepare daily sales reports for production and sales staff
  • Analysis of manufacturing and purchase price variances
  • Management of and analysis for standard costs of products and standard margin reporting
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and presentations for review by senior management
  • Partner with plant operations, functional areas and the corporate office to provide financial assistance and material requests

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA, CMA or similar certification is preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of general accounting, cost accounting, GAAP
  • Strong understanding of a financial consolidation system (i.e. BPC, Cognos, Hyperion)
  • Integrated operating system (i.e. SAP, Oracle) experience strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
