Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Identify, qualify and close new business opportunities appropriate to our product offerings and target markets
  • Drive profitable and sustainable growth an 80/20 philosophy
  • Project manage the prospecting process from start to finish
  • Work in tandem with field sales to develop new prospects and move them through the sales process efficiently.
  • Coordinate with other team members and marketing on lead generation, RFP evaluation and response; sales presentations, negotiating, closing and transitioning work to account management teams and customer service
  • Identify relevant business trends and facilitate product development with accounts and technical engineering teams to provide needs analysis, solution design and delivery
  • Identify and report on relevant trends (customers, industries, social, digital, pop culture)
  • Participate in developing creative concepts and assets in support of business development efforts
  • Support team members as needed to increase productivity across the team
  • Preform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Training 

  • Bachelor's of Science or Technical Field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2 3 years Customer Service experience in a fast pace manufacturing business to business environment preferred
