Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This is the top human resource management position within the Segment with global responsibility for the implementation of organization-wide policies and programs encompassing all, aspects of human resource management. This position reports directly to the Business Unit / Segment Leader and indirectly to the Jason Inc. VP of Human Resources.

  • Influences leadership by establishing credibility, trust and rapport throughout the organization.
  • Provides leadership, advice and support to management and employees that supports the company Mission, Values and Strategies.
  • Builds and maintains a high performing team.
  • Assists in the creation and executes the strategic HR plan
  • Develops and manages the departmental budget
  • Fostering a diverse workplace that enables all employees to contribute to the organization at their full potential.
  • Identify opportunities for improving, developing and conserving human resources
  • Execute recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
  • Provide advice and counsel to Plant Managers and Plant Human Resource Managers, and business leaders on labor/employees relation's matters to include contract interpretation, grievance resolution and other related matters.

  Position Requirements

  • Bachelors' degree required. Masters or MBA preferred.
  • Twelve (12) years' experience in HR with demonstrated competence in several HR functional areas.
