Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the maintenance of all site assets (equipment, facilities, and grounds) and for continuously improving their safety and reliability.
  2. Recruit, develop, and retain maintenance department employees as part of building a culture of collaboration with a focus on continuous improvement. Responsible for clearly communicating expectations and holding team members consistently accountable.
  3. Develop, implement and continuously improve maintenance systems that adhere to IATF standards while driving results to achieve department and plant goals.
  4. Oversight of all outside contractors working on plant equipment, facilities, and grounds.
  5. Responsible for developing and sustaining a culture of service, collaboration and support of other plant departments.
  6. Implementation and continuous improvement of best practices related to equipment reliability, such as Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, and Reliability Centered Maintenance activities.
  7. Responsible for driving utilization and continuous improvement of the facility's CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5 years of leadership experience within a plant engineering or maintenance function.
  • Detailed knowledge of and experience with maintenance best practices such as preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability centered maintenance.
  • Proven track record at developing individuals and building effective and collaborative teams.
  • Experience with project management and capital installations.
