Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review special contract pricing and special product pricing to insure profit margins that fit within the scope of acceptable margins for the value of the business being quoted
  • Present pricing showing margins and reasons for offering said pricing to the CS Manager prior to submitting a formal customer quote.
  • Generate quotations covering special contracts and special products and communicate them to the customer and the appropriate business managers.
  • Track monthly quote actively and report status  to the Customer Service Manager.
  • Keep CSR's trained on new product or software changes made throughout the year.
  • Responsible for all activities on all assigned shifts.
  • Handle incoming customer calls & e-mail for order placement, order tracking, pricing, and product information.
  • Enter orders for a specific segment of the Osborn customer base.
  • Generate new & update expired quotations.
  • Initiate & maintain customer information database (CRM).
  • Review incoming website inquiries and handle or distribute them per preset requirements.
  • Communicate order requirements to the Production, Purchasing, and Shipping departments.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or a technical field, or 8+ years of related experience
  • strong leadership skills and the ability to direct others
  • above average product and product application knowledge
  • knowledge of the Market covered by Osborn products, including an understanding of who our competitors are, what products they sell, and at what price level they use.
  • good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • strong reasoning ability, able to analyze problems
  • good communication skills, team oriented, self starter
  • working knowledge of the SAP business system is a plus
